FOUNDED BY JAMES CHAN
Close enough to
remember the friction.
MedKey was built from a student’s view of the exam—and an educator’s refusal to accept shallow explanations.
“If a student does not understand, the explanation is not finished.”
I am James, founder and lead tutor at MedKey. I scored in the 97th percentile in the UCAT, achieved 3 A*s at A Level and earned a place to study Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.
I built MedKey because too much admissions preparation is a pile of tricks. A trick may answer one question. A system teaches you how to face the next hundred.
That principle shapes every lesson: diagnose the real constraint, explain from first principles, then convert understanding into execution.
